Are you spending more time talking about taking an action than it takes to actually do it?
Remember – talking is found in many forms.
In it’s purest form, it’s the endless discussion about whether or not you are going to move forward. But talking is also represented by any excuse you use to avoid taking action.
“I will get to it when I have the money.”
“When things slow down, I will have the time.”
“The market isn’t ready.”
“I need more experience.”
It’s only in action that you learn whether or not the talking was worthwhile.
The biggest example of “talking” over “taking action” I find with most companies, is when it comes to their finances. A lack of understanding around finances becomes an excuse for not taking action.

One of Chris Estrada’s famous quotes is “talkers go to coffee shops”.

Taking charge of your finances was a major focus of the Growth Hacking Conference in April and will be again on September 9th.
